Raft Building Team Building

Raft Building team building  – Castaway, Hua Hin, Pattaya, Thailand. You’re guaranteed to get wet with this fun team event ideal for groups of any size.

This activity is highly focused on teamwork: leadership, balanced participation, open and clear participation, clear goals and more.

The event starts with a planning phase in which teams are given time to design their rafts. None of the raft equipment can be touched during the planning which is usually placed on aRaft Building Team Building local beach to your chosen hotel.

Each team is then given the necessary equipment to build their rafts consisting of; bamboo, floats, rope, and wood. The first team to complete their raft gets bonus points and then each raft are then subject to a safety check. Once all teams pass the safety requirements they each take their raft down to the water’s edge which could be on the beach or lake.

This part of the event is total fun and teams climb onto their rafts for a period of time in the hope that their raft doesn’t fall apart! The raft must be large enough to carry teams through a series of races and the real test is to see how long they will last?

We can also add some of our beach games to this fun Raft Building event or perhaps some beach sports giving your group a fun filled day on the beach!

Raft Building Team Building – Castaway Testimonial

Thank you for the wonderful team building day organised by you in Hua Hin for our annual Group Marketing Conference with The Peninsula Hotels. I believe the day was really successful, and we were worried about the long drive to and from Bangkok, but everyone thought that the whole exercise was so enjoyable that it was well worth the time spent in the coach. I thought your team was well organised and helpful, and the Hyatt did a great job with the lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our movies which we played on our Gala night. The day accomplished all that I wanted to achieve. Thank you and I would recommend this activity to others… Jean Forrest, General Manager, Marketing, The Peninsula Hotels
